Olive Tree Foundation Supports Interfaith Climate Action

The Olive Tree Foundation is proud to provide a grant to support the upcoming Faiths4Climate Conversations 2026, a multifaith initiative bringing together diverse communities to explore the connections between faith, sustainability, and climate action.

The gathering, organized by Faith & the Common Good in collaboration with EnviroMuslims, will take place during World Interfaith Harmony Week in February 2026

It will feature panels on faith-based climate leadership, a youth forum focused on next-generation voices, and an exhibitor showcase where grassroots organizations, municipalities, and environmental groups can share resources and solutions.

The series has already proven its impact. The 2022 event at the Jaffari Community Centre brought together over 65 participants from Christian, Muslim, Sikh, Jewish, Buddhist, and Hindu communities.

In 2025, the Mississauga gathering sparked new initiatives, including the inaugural Sikhs in Sustainability Conference and the founding of Kudrat Di Rakhia.

These conversations aim to foster collaboration, inspire youth engagement, and strengthen connections among faith communities working toward a sustainable future.

Michelle Singh, Executive Director of Faith & the Common Good, expressed her gratitude to Olive Tree Foundation: “Thank you for your ongoing support of Faiths4Climate Conversations, a collaboration between Faith & the Common Good and EnviroMuslims.”

The Olive Tree Foundation is committed to nurturing initiatives like this that create positive change through faith, dialogue, and community-led action.

Faith & the Common Good (FCG) is a national, interfaith charitable network dedicated to assisting and inspiring religious congregations and spiritual groups of all backgrounds to take collective action in creating more sustainable communities.
