Azeem Khan Memorial Fund

Ustad Al Haj Azeem Khan (Bertie) was an exceptional Qur’anic teacher who touched the lives of many students at the largest mosque in Guyana, the Queenstown Jama Masjid in Georgetown.

The late Ustad Azeem Khan worked as an Office Assistant at the Law Offices of Cameron and Shepherd, the oldest law firm in Guyana.

Ustad Azeem Khan joined the Queenstown Jama Masjid in 1963 and showed an aptitude as a teacher and was appointed Ustad of the mosque.

Many brothers and sisters owe their knowledge of Islam to Ustad Azeem Khan.

This Azeem Khan Memorial Fund has been created by the students of the late Ustad to honor the contribution and memory of their beloved teacher.  

This fund was created by the students of the late Ustad Azeem Khan who was the Qur’anic & Islamic Studies teacher at the Queenstown Jama Masjid in Georgetown, Guyana.
